Hamburg Ohlsdorf 26.3.16 My dear aunt! I received your lovely letter this morning. It is also a pleasure for us to hear from you from time to time. already the awareness that someone thinks of us with love. So I felt an urge to answer immediately. If only through this card. Despite the bad times, we are all doing well. if it could be better with my dear wife. but she is now already 67. that must always be taken into account. The end of the bad war is still not in sight. if it looks better with us too. than where the war is raging in enemy territory. --- to come to an honorable peace. It is a positive sign that our current bond has been so well covered again, a sign of our trust and strength in Germany’s good cause. I also bought from it. page 2 We received the newspaper and thank you very much for it. The picture looks pretty good. even if the recording is a bit older: I don't want to fail to express my thanks to you for your kind participation to our Helene. She will visit us again this summer. she comes to us almost every year. The fact that you have recovered so well from your weakness shows that you have a good inner core. Also keep yourself very good aunt and we warmly greet you Your faithful nephew Gustav group and wife Helene will read your dear letter too and will certainly be happy about it.
